Name of Project: Dungeon of Trials

Background Story

There is one lost soul who got trapped into a dungeon in a different world without knowing the reason of their quest inside the dungeon. This hero need to beat those evil monsters in order for them to survive. Finally, in the end of the story, she will fight the boss which has a different attack patterns from other enemies and relatively hard to defeat.

Proposal

This game will be a local single player shooting game which have various characters with different appearance and skills. There will be one player using the controller and one using the mouse so that both of the players can play comfortably. Furthermore, there are few stages which they need to fight against small creeps and bosses to get the items which will upgrade their power.

Controls

The manual will actually be provided within the game menu. However, I will explain here as well. The game can be controlled with keyboard.
Keyboard Controls:
W A S D = Will be for moving in up, left, down, right respectively
Mouse = Direction of aiming
Mouse Left Click =  Shoot
Mouse Right Click = Use skill

Space Bar = Melee Attack

Guide:

This game is a 2.5D top down shooter that has a story about a character that is trapped inside a dungeon without knowing any reason why she’s there. It has five stages with different types of enemies which are melee creeps, ranged creeps, and boss. The dungeon has boxes to prevent the player from getting hit from the enemies. On the end of the game, there will be a boss which has special attack patterns that is relatively hard to beat with its attack patterns.

Contribution:

My main contribution to this project is making all of the map for the game. I made the furniture of the game which are the boxes that will prevent the player to get hit from the enemies. Furthermore, I helped improving the player’s hitboxes so that the player would fit into the map as the furniture was solidify so that there will be a bug handling by making the boxes impenetrable. Also,  I gave ideas for the game and give some preferences for making a better game.
